This drum loop wasn't really inspired by anything, to tell the truth. I was just trying to get a hang of all the tools we were learning about at the time in Music Tech class.
I know it could be a lot better, but it was a nice starting point.I've got 3 parts to this.

To apply a post to your embedded loop, click on edit post, and start typing text (right along with the code).
ReplyDeleteI hear the contrasting loops especially the busy snare drum in the last pattern- which I like.
the fill could be more agressive and obvious to set up the busy snare drum.

Hey Tiffany, this is a cool loop. I especially like the second pattern, the snare drum is pretty busy, but I think it would sound really good backed by other instruments. The beat of the snare drum is really interesting in the second pattern. The only thing I would change is maybe adding other instruments to the fills, now that we know how. Nice job!
